February Update

Welcome Back!

I am so thankful to be entering this next semester of ministry with you on my team. I cannot thank you enough for your prayers & support.

Winter Retreat!

Once a year all of our campuses across the metroplex come together to worship, learn & build community for a weekend. This year we had Marty Solomon from the Bema Podcast as a guest speaker (picture below). He carried us through the book of Genesis which was quite a feat! The heart message he was trying to instill in us all weekend is that the message of Genesis is a story that above all communicates our belovedness to God.

"You sin but God loves you is very different than God loves you but you sin. When you start with what’s wrong, the story becomes about what you aren’t. When you start with whats right, the story is about what you are. One story is about ridding something one is about putting something back together."

This was a quote from one of his sessions this weekend that has really been sitting with me. If we get God right we will get everything else right. I hope this is an encouragement to you. I will link his sessions below, they are worth a listen!
