November Update

 

Happy November! 

Its hard to believe that this semester is almost over! I can't help but be overcome with gratitude because of how richly God has blessed me, particularly through my relationship with you. What a gift it is to complete another year of ministry with you faithfully supporting my work and earnestly praying for our ministry. Thank you for being such a tangible way God has met me and how God has met our students. Growing ever increasingly thankful for you! 

Pizza Theo: 

This is a picture from one of our events last week Pizza Theology! Every semester all of our students get together to hear from a collegiate level speaker on a topic that pertains to their faith. We call it pizza theo because we take a pizza dinner break in between sessions. This year we had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Rikk Watts on 1st and 2nd Samuel. It was such a gift to me and our students! Something Rikk kept repeating that I have been thinking about is continually asking God to keep our hearts tender. This is a picture from Pizza theo! 

Students: 

I wanted to take a minute to introduce you to a few students I meet with this year! This is Kodi and Sams core, Kodi is on the far right holding the surf board and sam is directly in the middle with the yellow lei. I get to meet with both of them every week, be in prayer for them and growth of their pastoral thinking! I also study the bible with two girls in their core Trinity (to Sam's right without a lei), and Sophia (to Kodi's left green lei). They both are such gifts to meet with! They are some of the most engaging and committed people I have studied the bible with. Pray they would consider stepping up as leaders next year, and continue to deepen their love for God this year!
