A Day in the Life

My company during the snow storm in early February.

Happy March!!

I have a lot of pictures to share from this month of time with different students and events so I will let most of those tell the story of this month. Thank you for making another 28 days of ministry possible, my work would not be possible without your generosity and financial investment. Thank you for loving these students alongside me!!

Students:

Like I said this month I have a lot of pictures of my time with different students so if you like visuals, this is the ministry update for you. I want to share glimpses of a few different girls and how you can be praying for them. I felt like this gives you an idea of what my day to day looks like better than talking about a few big things from the month.

This is my roommate Kendry, she is a senior at UTA and a student leader in FOCUS this year. She is about to graduate with her degree in nursing in May. She was in my core last year, so it has been super special to get to watch her learn to lead and invest in her own core this year. She adds so much to my life and our community. Be praying for her as she transitions out of college ministry come May!

This is Alisa! She is a junior, and she is also one of our student leaders. We get weekly time together and it is usually as sweet and exciting as she looks in this picture haha. Be praying for her as she continues to learn how God thinks about her and what that can mean for her every day life! Being loved by God means so so much for how we get to live every day.

This is Kyndal she is a sophomore this year and was in my core last year too! Kyndal is one of my favorite people to be around, she is quick witted and has such a big heart for God and the people around her. Be praying for her as she continues to learn how to be a leader among her peers!

This is Jacie, she is a junior in my core this year! We get to meet every week, and man, what a privilege. She is consistently such a refreshing time in my week she loved . Be praying for her as she learns how to balance leading her peers towards Jesus and other stressors of life.

This is another one of my roommates, Emily! She is a senior and student leader. Be praying for her as she continues to navigate the grief of her mom's passing 11 months ago, and all the familial transitions that have followed.

This is Sarah, she is a freshman nursing student this year, and we get to study the bible together every week! Similar to Alisa, be praying for her to continue to learn how being loved by God can impact her day to day mental and emotional state.

Events!

The FOCUS girls threw a Galentines Day party and this is some of the girls from my core at it! Loren, me, Molly, and Skylar. I love these girls and getting to do everyday life and celebrations with them.

This is one of our outreach events from this month, we had six posters (in the back) with the six different greek forms of love (storge, eros, agape..etc) and asked people walking by what they believe the highest form of love to be. It was such a neat way to engage the campus!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I hope all these pictures give you a bit of look into what I do and who I am with on a day to day basis. These are the faces that get to know and love Jesus more because of you. The impact of your generosity will extend far beyond their years here, it will trickle down into generations to come. Until next month,

Love Sophie
