June Update

Hey Everyone!

Apologies that this update is so late! I hope y'all had a great month. Your support for me and love for college students is so evident even in the summer months. Thank you all for being so generous and responsive as I work to raise my salary this summer! Since school is still out, I wanted to give y'all an update on three things this month; fundraising, what I've been up to, and prayer requests!

Fundraising 

Thank you so, so much for your continued support and prayers for my fundraising. I have not reached my goal, but I am around 62% fully fundraised. I have been so blessed with God's abundant provision! I am consistently praying for new connections and relationships with people that might want to partner with me. Let me know if you think of anyone! Currently I have raised a salary higher than last year by God's grace, this is a huge blessing given how high inflation is right now.

What I've been up to: 

Summer is such a great opportunity for me to slow down! I have gotten to spend more time with family, friends, and my broader church family.  I get to spend time with students and staff in a more relaxed, fun way, which will pay off big time during the school year. I have been specifically been able to spend a lot of time with girls who are going to be leading for the first time in the fall. I'm so thankful to get establish a strong relationship with them before the crazy of the school year hits. We are also doing a lot of planning and prep for the coming school year. Lots of good stuff in the works!

Prayer Requests: 

Pray for our leader selection for the coming school year. Please pray for wisdom in making those decisions and please pray that our leaders would be motivated out of a love for God and people. Pray that those student leaders would be bold and passionate when meeting their peers on campus this year. 

Pray for the fundraising of the rest of our staff! All fifty something of our campus pastors across DFW are fundraising their salaries to make full time ministry in the school year possible. 

Pray for the students both myself, and our team at large will meet in August. Pray that  that we would reflect him clearly on campus. Pray that God connects us with people who are looking for him.

Sarah, Juli, and I spent some time together on my birthday! We went to a mini golfing place with an arcade and we won the jackpot, it was so fun! 

Fun fact: I picked up balloon animals as a hobby in April. Here is Lizzy wearing a Garfield hat I made! Let me know what I should make next :)
